Any feedback on the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster refurbishment?

I've been doing a little research in anticipation of our December visit :yay:

I see the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster had a 4 month refurb ending back in June and wondered if it was more reliable now?

The countdown was often not working properly and music not playing during the ride.

Anyone been on it lately?

I was on it week before last and it was terrific! It's the first time I have actually been on it (or the one in Florida) as my daughter convinced me to try it this time (I don't usually do upside-down rides, lol) Great music, definitely had the countdown loud and clear. She said it's more comfortable than the one at WDW too, if that helps any!

I can't recall where I read it, but I definitely read that there isn't much difference and someone was wondering what they'd actually done during that down time!!

Apparently it was all behind the scenes, so will just be grateful if everything is working at once for a change!

They updated all the lighting, sound and completely ripped out the launch system and replaced. It was a great ride experience but still broke down a few times when I was there.

We rode in 5-6 times in the first week of August. It worked great every time we were on it.
