Since we are staying at POR, I wondered if Boatwrights is good? Especially the prime rib?

thanks!

We enjoyed dinner and breakfast at Boatwrights. That stuffed french toast for breakfast was delish, but you asked about dinner. Our dinner was yummy. We had the French Onion Soup and Pot Roast. Although we were on the DDP, we were just TOO STUFFED for dessert. There was a big table beside us with a few people eating the prime rib, and they were saying it was very good. It looked good too when it went by our table!

My opinion of Boatwright's is it is a great place to sit and have a meal at POR...I would not travel to dine there, but it was good. The breakfast was excellent, and we did have dinner there one night. DH had the prime rib and said it was excellent. I wish the decor and ambiance was a little nicer, but hey, when I am at any restauarnt on WDW property, I am pretty much a happy camper.

Definitely make sure you have breakfast there at least one morning. This is a must do on our trips.

We have had breakfast at Boatwrights several times and always enjoyed ourselves. I had the Sweet Potato Pancakes on our last visit and they were fantastic. :)

Even though we usually stay at Value resorts, we do travel to Boatwright's for breakfast every trip. I second the tip on trying the sweet potato pancakes - yummm!

We had a pleasant walk up to Boatrights from POFQ one evening and enjoyed the meal there. I had the potroast which was lovely, but would have served 3 people I think!! I had to leave an awful lot of it! My husband had the prime rib and I think he enjoyed it, but again it was a very large portion and he left some. We did squeeze desserts in as we were on the DP( :teeth: ) and I didn't know then about taking it back to our room!
A very nice place, but not 'high end' dining though.
We are going to go for breakfast this next time.

We ate here the n ight we arrived for our honeymoon. The food was yummy. I had the Pot Roast and my DH had the prime rib. Oh my...it was soooo good. We planned to have dinner then go to Ghirardelli at DD for dessert but we were so stuffed we couldn't even go. I'm sure you'll love it :wave2:

We had dinner there. It was very good. I had the 10 oz sirloin. (Okay I had half of the 10 oz sirloin.) The french onion soup is pretty tasty too!!
