Any FAQ on pin event sponsorship?

We are newly engrossed in Pin trading and would like some scoop on sponsorship for pin events and or details of such. We have decided to take a second trip this year coinciding with the Epcot pin festival. My oldest son is a big Donald collector and I was curious as to the idea of sponsoring someone for the AK event. (lots of Donald stuff at that one, my son reports)

Basically you pay for someone to go and you get all the goodies, if the person being sponsored wants some pins you don't you may give them the option to buy them or put them on your RSP.
You can work out details with each individual as you go.
