I guess I really must be bored as I am sitting here wondering if there any famous DVC owners. Anyways, wondering if you had heard of any- I know I heard that Jimmy Carter is an owner. Any one know of any other celebrities??

Just a bored and nosey DVCer :earboy2:

About a year and a half ago, there was a thread just like this one and if I remember correctly this was part of the list:

Gopher from Love Boat - can't remember his real name - he is a senator from I believe Nebraska.

Don Mattingly - Former New York Yankees First Baseman, current hitting coach.

Scotty Bowman - Hall of Fame NHL coach (Montrael Canadiens dynasty from 70's, Detroit Re Wings dynasty from the 90's-2000's) - I believe he was on the first member cruise signing autographs (I wish I was there so I could have met him!).

Jimmy Carter was not part of that list but did stay at Old Key West one year for one of the holidays (and took up one of the small buildings) but confirmed with someone from the boards while at the pool that he is not a member. Let's face it, he doesn't need to be a member. As a former president, he can pretty much stay where he wants. How many of us are audio-animatronic figures in the Hall of Presidents?

I thought there were a few more but can't recall the others.

I know that Michael E Knight (Tad of All My CHildren) and his wife Catherine Hickland (Lindsay on One Life to Live) have stayed at BWV, although I'm not sure if they are members. I was just told they "always ask for" a room that I was in once (5011/5013)

I'll have to tell my mom that. She's a BWV owner and LOVES All My Children.

Fred Grandy. Why I'm wasting grey matter remembering that name, I don't know... But he's a nice guy at least.

Copper3,

You're close on Gopher's home state. He was/is a Congressman from Iowa. Not sure is he's still in D.C or not.
