Any F450 owners here?

I am thinking about selling my 05 F250 and buying an 08 F450 cab chassis 4x4 with a steel flatbed and 4.30 rear end. Our new toyhauler is right at the limit at what the F250 can handle and still be below GAWR's. Frankly, I don't like towing at the max, and I would feel a lot better with a drw 350 or 450. I found an 08 with 80k miles for a decent price. I plan on having the Oasis report pulled tomorrow on it. I definitely do not want to buy someone's problem truck. I know that fuel mileage isn't a strong point for the 6.4, but I would be happy getting 8-10 towing. My 6.0 is close to that now towing the big trailer.

Any 450 owners here?

I also would like to know. In a couple of years I will be replacing my f-350 and I also thought about the f-450.

I drove the 450 some today. The ride from the huge rear leaf spring pack is wagon-like. Other than that it is a nice ride. Decisions, decisions....
