In the past, we've made a grocery stop at Albertson's with our towncar service, but now, with Magical Express, we won't be doing that.

We generally eat our lunches and dinners in the parks, but we usually like to have a light breakfast in our room, so we would like to have bagels, cream cheese, OJ, milk, oatmeal, as well as some bottled water and juice to take with us.

Any good, or bad experiences with the Grocery delivery service?

Hi!

I will let you know after my trip - we leave Saturday and return Friday, March 21. I will say it was very easy - I faxed and mailed my order form, which I downloaded from the DVCmember.com site. Then I called the resort to follow-up to make sure they received the order. They received it, so we are all set.

Since we are not there all that long, I did not order a lot - just under $30.00 total. I compared prices for the items I needed as offered by DVC and as offered by the popular Garden Grocer, and DVC was the same or cheaper.

If you need more info on Garden Grocer visit gardengrocer.com. They can offer greater variety.

Good Luck!

Doesn't seem like anyone uses the DVC grocery service. I will be using it in June and including it in my trip report. good luck!

We used it this past December (breakfast items, some snacks and drinks). Faxed in the from about 3 weeks before our vacation. I never called to check on it. The first day, we arrived, checked in, and left for a park. We came back a few hours later and everything was there on the counter or in the fridge. Worked great for us and we'll be using it again! :thumbsup2

That's good to hear, Liisa! That's exactly the kind of things we would be ordering.

I will be giving this a service a try in June! :thumbsup2

We'll be using the Disney grocery service in July - I'll let everyone know how it goes. For us, we'll just need breakfast food, drinks, and a few snacks for the room, so Disney's service seems easier. (We'll be eating lunch and dinner in the parks and other resorts for the whole trip.)

We used them last June & everything went perfectly. We were on the Magical Express bus (almost at the resort) when I got a call on my cell. They were calling to let us know that they were at the resort & would be happy to wait or leave our things at bell services for us.
We plan to use them again this June :thumbsup2
