Swim with the Dolphins
(One hour program)

Schedule:
10 am, 12:00 pm, 2 pm, 4 pm
(Limited to 6 People)
$119 USD per person

This one hour program, available to any who can swim (8 years minimum age), is highlighted by thirty minutes of time in the water with the dolphins. The first portion of the program is watching a short educational video and orientation from professional training staff on how to swim with the dolphins. (total 25 minutes)

The second portion 35 minutes) is an actual swim a little over a half an hour. During this time swimmers will participate in "structured behaviors" and free time.

Imagine the thrill of dolphins pulling you through the water, pushing you by your feet or leaping over you. Then put on snorkeling gear and complete your adventure with the famous "freestyle" portion of your swim. Picture yourself racing the dolphins across the water's surface or diving to the sandy bottom enjoying their playful antics... memorable photo opportunities, to say the least! (Limited to 6 persons per swim, 2 dolphins, one trainer. Must be 12 years of age or 8 to 11 years old swimming with guardian, Recommended to bring your own snorkel equipment.)

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I wanna do it!!!!

I don't know if this is the same one that you're talking about, but when I went to Atlantis (aka, Heaven on Earth) last year, we took a boat to swim with the dolphins.

There were two programs, I believe the Dolphin Discovery and the Swim with the Dolphins.

I did Dolphin Discovery along with my sister, brother, and younger cousins. The cousin my age did the swimming with the dolphins, which was more expensive. I would've done it with her, except we booked too late.

It was amazing. The difference between the two was that my cousin was able to be pushed along the water by the dolphins, and they leaped over her. But we fed the dolphins, got hugs and kisses, pet them, got splashed...there was alot of interacting between the humans and dolphins.

The experience was wonderful, I would love to do it again! I wanted to do it, but I didn't realize how amazing it would be.

Do most people book excursions through Disney... or do themselves...

What are the advantages of booking through DCL?...

Disadvantages?...:jester:

The advantage would be the ease of booking. The disadvantage is that Disney only offers a Dolphin "experience". The "experience" involves kneeling on a platform in knee-deep water while the dolphin swims up to you once or twice. Many people prefer the dolphin swim where you're actually in the water with the dolphins and they're swimming all around you. You have to book the dolphin "swims" independently of DCL.
