Any experiences dining with non DDP guests???

DH and I are planning to dine at Yachtsman Steakhouse in mid May on the DDP. I just became aware yesterday some very good friends decided last minute on a trip with their daughter who is graduating from college a few days before and will be there same time as us. However, they are staying offsite at Windsor Hills and would like to dine with us at YS. Since they can't get DDP as offsite guests will we be able to dine together, but, get separate checks? Has anyone done this? Thanks.

Getting separate checks is no problem at all.

We usually have a large group and it's never been a problem getting separate checks. Just tell your server when you order your drinks that you'll need separate checks.
