Any experience with Zoloft?

I took it several years ago and after a few months, started having really bizarre thoughts. They were so random that I didn't even notice them at first. I would look at buildings while in traffic and try and decide if I jumped off, would I break bones or die? The drug made me suicidal. I know that there are warnings about teenagers and young adults having that reaction, but I was in my thirties. Very scary.
