Any experience with Special Assistance Cards?

Hi!
We have a dd11 with ADHD. (And twin dd11) We've seen information about the use of Special Assistance Cards to minimize wait times, for people with problems, esp. autism. Can anyone share their experience, or tell us if Disney accepts ADHD as legitimate use of the SAC? We read that it is, on allearsnet, and a CM at Disney confirmed it on the WDW information line "anything that could have a doctor's note", but we feel we need more info.
It would really help if we don't have to make her stand still in line for too long.

If your child gets clauserphobic, aggressive, totally freaked out, etc due to his medical condition making it impossible for him to be surrounded by crowds of people, he may be eligiable for the Guest Assistance Card. You would need to visit the Guest Relations Lobby inside one of the parks (DTD does not have these cards (no attractions), and speak with a castmember and he/she will give you the appropriate Guest Service Card for your child's needs. This does not guarantee he and the family will get to go to the head of the line, however... but it may help minimize wait times in certain instances. The card is good for the guest and his family, up to 6 people total.
