I finally got thorugh to https://www.buyatimeshare.com/ and have a sweet deal on exactly what I was looking for but now, I worry about the company. Are they legit?

There’s a weird one that had a few different sites that list all the same listings. They want you to only use their title company which charge wayyy too much and it’s actually not legal to require you to use their company if you are paying the fee. It’s literally twice the price of any other title company, I think they do that to get the fees because they technically say the sellers are selling “buy owner” but they are making up the fees on the title company end since they own it all.

I checked into them a couple months ago. They wanted about $1,600 in closing costs for a 50 point contract. Would not let me use my own closing company.

50 point resale should be somewhere around $500 to close! We've recently closed on several 25, 30 and 50 point contracts. $1600 YIKES!

I walked away from it. I had to inquire about UY... it was annoying because this one was my UY.
