Sorry just panicking....my hubby works as a caretaker in the Toronto District school board and they walked away from the bargaining table. This is the third time in about 7 or 8 years they have gone on strike...well they aren't on strike yet but when no one is talking how do you solve anything.
My hubby doesn't want to strike and I know most unioinized employees don't want to strike but they have to follow what the union says.
However if he goes on strike that might mean the end of my disney dreams for this year as well as dipping into the line of credit just to survive.
I also feel really bad for the kids and the parents, if the schools close then the have to pay more for daycare and that isn't fair.
Sorry this is just my vent for the day and wondering if there was anyone out there in the same boat as me.
