Have you downloaded or used the Disney Apps for it? I am curious, seems "santa" is bringing both me and Jess one for Xmas, and I saw a complete set of WDW Maps, with character meet and greet times, and ride wait times....Any info would be much appreciated!

Apps that require an Internet connection to update wouldn't work in the parks on the iPod Touch because there is no wireless internet in the parks (or the vast majority of most locations at WDW, including the resorts).

I think most of the Disney apps work on the iPhone and Touch, it's just that you couldn't have the internet connection while you're there if you don't have a phone.

I have many WDW apps on my iPhone. They also work on the iPod touch. You may lose some functionality of the apps, such as the GPS. The touch only works on wifi. So you won't be able to pinpoint yourself on the maps while you're in the parks. No big deal really. I would purchase the eticket WDW app when it's fully released instead of all the individual apps. It's $5.99, but I wouldn't have individually purchased a dvc planner, WDW dining, and park maps. The eticket app incorporates them all, plus has a great interface to surf the disboards.

I went "app" crazy after I first got my iPhone. There are so many "free" apps I couldn't help myself. Quite an addiction. The good news is iTunes makes managing the apps really user friendly each time I sync my iPhone. Interestingly the free Disney apps work much better than those that cost, especially those that really on input from other iPhone users. This is probably because there are more users of the free apps thus providing a much larger database for current information.

As far as games "Toy Story Mania" for the iPhone is awesome.
