Any DVC perks?

Hi everyone! We'll be doing a cruise in May. Does anyone know if you get any perks for being a DVC member? I thought I have read somewhere where you may get on ship credit? I'll be sure to mention it to my TA but thought I'd start here. TIA!

No credits that I know of. If you are going on the Magic there will be a number of DVC events. One is a party for members with small prizes. The other is for those interested in DVC and they encourage members to attend and again there is a chance for some prizes.

Usually everyone who attends the member party gets a lanyard (if they didn't get it in their room - this happens if you are sailing on points) and a hat. Last time we also got luggage tags and a mouse pad. There were some other prizes in a raffle style of bags, beach towels, etc.

To the best of my knowledge they don't have any of these on the Wonder.

The DVC reps get a list of people who paid for their cruise with points. They do not get a list of DVC members who paid cash for the cruise. So, if you check in at the DVC desk, they will see to it that you get whatever the little gift is that they are providing--hats, mouse pads, etc.

Also, they will invite you to the members update--munchies are served and there are some prizes. As above, there is an informational meeting that they will encourage members to attend, with a prize or 2 for members only (usually a drawing.)
