Then count me in also! (Visited with my 100% Irish mother and fell in love.)

P.S. Check out the photo in my signature to see that Beca means what what says!

Jean!! You are SOO cute!!! I've missed you around, lately!!

Tink Tatoo - yes, you can see I am pretty "Ireland" obsessed...that's me and my dd in the pic with Jean. I guess that makes me obsessed with TWO Irelands!!!! :goodvibes

LOL Beca - I'd seen some of Jean's posts before and thought it was a lovely name - she is a real cutie :)

DH is 1st generation American but his parents are both from Ireland (County Mayo, County Clare). ALL his other relatives are still in Ireland! The Irish culture is still extremely important in his family. We've got every weekend in March booked with parades, festivals, and parties! It seems like there is always someone visiting from Ireland staying at their house. So if you ever come to NY and need a place to visit, let me know LOL

LOL you never know :teeth:

I had a great aunt in Long Island - she moved there in the 1940's - she was a favourite aunt of my dad and he would visit her most years. My mom and I went a few times as well during the 1970's but I have not been since.

The nearest we get is when our plane lands in JFK or Newark - then it's onward to Orlando :cheer2:

Have a great St Patrick's day

Only in my fondest dreams.

I spent most of my childhood holidays with my family in Limerick where my mother comes from.

Don't go back nearly often enough.

Dual citizen(my da is too). Lots of family in Athlone, and friends in Derry. Welcome! I hope you also know about the UK DVC board :sunny:

Mostly Irish...though my family has been here for centuries, will be at WDW for March 17th! ;)

We fell in love with Ireland last March. Killarney was the best town ever.
Honestly my kids, husband and I talk about it often. Thats one place my mind wonders to when I have bad days, and out comes the picture book.
Can't wait to go back!
