For a December trip to WDW....what's the dressiest thing you are bringing to wear and where are you going to wear it? I'm sure some will do nothing but jeans and shorts. But, I'm just interested if anyone will "dress up". Thanks.

The only "dressing up" I can possibly think of, would be for
MVMCP. I would probably just wear a better shirt, with better pants.............and makeup for my photo. That's about it.

There is proper attire required for V & A's(maybe SHula's too) other than that, its up to you. I'd wear a better shirt and dress pants if I was going on a romantic dinner with Mrs.jdads2.

I will probably bring a nice shirt to wear to dinner and then to have my picture made. It's the same one I'll wear to my choir christmas party. Will probably bring my mickey christmas sweatshirt to change into ::yes::

we're required to wear a dinner jacket and other proper attire to the New Years Eve thing at the California Grille. On all of the other days, we're wearing cool weather resort clothes with an extra sweater in the backpack :)

Good question! We will be going to Le Cellier and the CP on Christmas Eve. While this sounds like a somewhat "nice" night out, we are still going to be in a theme park. Hmm???? What to wear?

I think this trip, I will be only doing shorts/jeans and knit tops (hooded sweatshirt in case it gets cold). In the past though, I have bought one dress. We went to 'Ohana to celebrate our wedding and that's when we dressed up (heels included). It was actually a lot of fun to do it. Since I don't have anything at all like that planned, I am sure I will stick to wearing more casual clothing :)

We're celebrating our anniversary with a dinner at flying Fish. DH will wear a knit polo type shirt and dockers pants. I'm wearing a stretchy top and floral skirt. Flat leather sandals. After dinner we're off to Mk for Wishes.

Most dinners I am "California Casual", nice slacks, nice top. V&A I am in full black evening dress with high heels and fur. California Grill I am in a full 1800's ball gown with steel boned corset but that is Halloween Night! ;)

Had me going for a second with the steel boned corset...I was thinking WOW. Big Smile here...:sunny:

Tell me about your V and A....what a neat thing...have you done it before? Do you do the wine pairings? I'd love to hear more about this grand adventure. Thanks.

The corset and the dress for Halloween is a reproduction of Kates purple dress in the movie Tombstone (Doc Hollidays prostitute gal pal). I wear this stuff a lot. In my non-Disney time I perform in a Victorian singing ***** show called the Soiled Doves that I direct. http://www.soileddoves.com Its good fun - NO NUDITY. (We're not really *****s, we just play them on TV)

This is my first time doing V&A's but I will be sure to write it up in my trip report / food reviews. I have some of my previous ones posted on my On-Line Disney Guide.

Thanks!
