Any Disney Hotel deals during Christmas?

Has anyone gotten a discounted room at any of the Disney resorts the week between Christmas and New Year's? Don't know if we can afford the prices I have been quoted, should I hold out for a discount?

I have never seen one since that is one of the busiest weeks of the whole year. I saw one once for AP holders at the end of Nov/beginning of Dec.

Maybe you could spend just one or two nights at a Disney resort and then switch to something cheaper? Or stay somewhere cheaper and then just go have a special meal at the resorts to check out the decorations and such.

You won't find any specials during that time, it is always really busy at Christmas/New Years.

Nope. Even when there are discounts for the fall/winter, they generally are excluded during peak xmas time.

Ditto ^^^^. Nope. You may find some discounts in early to mid-December, and some that may even stretch as far as the weekend right before Christmas, but then they all stop! No discounts to be had between Christmas and New Year's, unfortunately.
