ditto, ditto. Sorry. Hmm, I can't even think of what I would do on a day in Boston by myself. I guess do a harbor cruise would probably be tops on my list as I rarely get to do that. Maybe sailing lessons too. Hmmmm. I KNOW a really nice meal would be on tap as paying for one would make it seem almost affordable to eat at a great restaurant! Browsing the stores on Beacon Hill and Newbury street too - not something my DH likes to do.

You could always check out one of the museums! The MFA is great!

And shopping at Fanueil Hall is always fun!

I think I might do something touristy as the friends I'm going to visit never want to since they live there- I'm thinking of doing the trolley tour

Oh definately! But I want to throw the Duck Tours out there. I worked for years in the State House - the Duck Tours would quack by incessantly all summer long driving us batty. then one day some friends of mine come to town and we go and take - what else - the Duck Tours. I learned so much that I had never ever known about the city that day. I loved it and I loved the goofiness and the splash down. Now the same knowledge influx can be said about the trolley tours, but they just don't have that quirkiness.
