Any Diser's at AKL Dec. 19-23?

Are there going to be any Diser's at AKL Dec. 19-23? It would be neat to have a mini meet!

I will be at the AKL from Dec.19-27 with my 15 year old son. This will be our first trip to the AKL and first Christmas at DisneyWorld so are really excited. We have a pretty busy schedule, but would enjoy meeting at the lodge with anyone who wants to. Let me know. Colette

We will be arriving at AKL on Dec. 19th around 1:00 to 2:00. This is our first trip to WDW at Christmas and 1st trip ever to AKL. I am SO EXCITED!!!!!!!

Our plane is due to land in Orlando at about 2:15, so I don't think we'll get to the hotel before 4:00. We're planning to just have dinner there and spend the evening enjoying the hotel, so if anyone would like to meet briefly for introductions-we'd love to. Boy, am I getting excited!

On Dec. 19, we will be having dinner at Boma at 6:45. We could wear a ribbon of some sort to be able to identify each other with.

If everyone does the lime green ribbon, then I will, also or another color if you want. I didn't make PS at Boma for that night because I wasn't sure if I would want a big meal or just grab something at Mara. It would be awesome to get a warm night and get to try out the pool before we start being too busy. I promised my son that I would slow down this time and actually make time to enjoy the resort.

Never done the lime green ribbon before-is it done as a bow or can I tie my hair back with it? We will be at Cirque Du Soliel on the 20th, Illuminations cruise on the 21st and Candlelight Processional on the 25th(dinner at Le Cellier). Anyone else? My son Steve just turned 15, so I think these will be fun things for him. How old are your kids?

we will be doing MVMCP on the 20th also! that's our present to our son who will be turning 3 on that day

We will be at AKL 12/22 and 23, then off to GF! I'll have my lime green ribbon on (I hope I remember it!). I also have a 15 year old son, Colette (as well as a 12 year old)! We're doing CP Christmas Eve. That would be great to meet fellow DIS'ers!!!!!

I have aranged 2 meets before and they are such fun! We will be at the AKL from the 12th until the 29th!

If anyone is interested let's meet in the Lobby on the 20th which is a Friday at 7 or 7:30 AM for a gathering of DIS'ers! That way we won't interfer with anyone's day plans or dinner! Bring a Mug of Coffee and look for the green Ribbons! You can see my picture below so look for me!

Steve and I will be at Cirque Du Soliel on the 20th(6:00 show) so that won't work for us. The evening of the 19th is the night we arrive so would that work for anyone? I am actually hoping this trip, if the weather is nice, to come back to the lodge and use the pool and hot tub late in the evening before bed, to relax, so maybe that could be a time to meet.

I can meet on the morning of the 20th at 7 or 7:30 or anytime on the 19th after we arrive (hopefully by 1:30 at the latest!) We will be at MVMCP on the 20th. I would love to meet some of the people I exchange posts with!

Either of those times works for us. We should be checked in by 4:00 on the 19th. I also enjoyed nutzfordisney's pictures. Let me know-the time is getting close. It's 7 degrees here in sunny New Hampshire this morning-boy is Florida sounding good!

Great! I will be in the Lobby in front of the gift shop at 7 AM on the morning of the 20th! I will be wearing a LIME Green Top! You can't miss me! Everyone who can...please stop by for a coffee morning break and to say hello!

By the way guys.......I am sitting here at my computer at 9 AM on Thursday Morning and I am snowed in!!!!!!

All schools are closed including our local Community College and Richard Stockton State College! We live in South Jersey and we don't get a lot of snow so most here don't know how to drive in it! I come from Pittsburgh originally and learned to drive in it when years ago we used to put on tire chains to get through!!!

So I am home packing and dreaming of Sunny Florida!!! My sister called from Orlando and it is supposed to get to 80 degrees today!!!!! Oh I am dreaming now!!!!!

PS My boss called and told me not to bother to come in today since most of our patients cancelled anyway! A paid day off one week befor vacation!!!!! I am loving it!

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!

But please be gone on Thursday the morning of the 12th so we can fly out ok!

7:00 sounds good to me, although I'm pretty sure that you won't meet my son that early. His idea of vacation is sleeping in, So I'll give him until 8:00. Well, we seem to be lucking out again in the snow department-we're only going to get flurries, possibly an inch in total, which is nothing for these parts. The past couple of years we haven't had any snow, yet, so I'm not liking the start to this winter at all. I saw how warm it was today in Orlando and I hope it lasts for us. I really want to spend some time at the pool and maybe a late night hot tub to relax the sore feet before bed.
