We will be in WDW Oct. 18th -21st. We are debating on 3day/3park passes or 4 day park hopper? We are going to MNSSHP on Sun night and perhaps would like to go to BB on Sun afternoon. It looks like it will be cheaper for us to do 3 ind. passes than a hopper. Does anyone know of any discounts for these 3 day/3park passes besides the $10 for bying 3 days instead of one? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks-
Sue

There are no additional discounts on the single day, 2 day 2 park, or the 3 day 3 park tickets.

I would love to see Disney rethink this policy - at least for the near future. WE have made 6 trips to WDW in the past 4 years - including 3 in 2000 when we had APs. We are trying to swing a trip in Dec. Would arrive afternoon of MVMCP - so we'd rest up & have dinner prior to MVMCP. The next 2 or even 3 days we would like to park hop. However, we cannot justify UMPs because we won't have time for water parks or Quest. The ability to park hop for a shorter stay might mean the difference between making the trip or not; or just doing MVMCP & DS only (for Osbourne Lights). I would be willing to forgo the "bounce back" discount for the privledge of hopping.

Hi mom2boys!

Since it seems as if you do get to go to WDW once in a while, then I think that it would be a good idea to just go ahead and buy a hopper - even if it is for more days than what you need. As you are aware, hopper days never expire and when you use them on future visits you are saving the price increase that inevitably comes.
Wolfyie2, unfortunately Golden Oldie is correct. So your only option is to buy the separate admissions OR a Park Hopper Plus - and the least number of days that you can get for that is 5 days/ 2 Plusses and use the leftover days for a future visit.
Sorry that this is not what you wanted to hear... :(

Okay, here goes...someone please correct me if I'm wrong! There is a 3-day Park Hopper pass available to business guests staying at a WDW resort for business or there for a convention or trade show. In 1999 (Coronado Springs) & 2000 (Swan) my spouse was at a WDW resort for a business convention & the 3-day Park Hopper was offered to our family. In 2000 it wasn't offered to us so I asked & was told it is available, we had to show proof that my spouse's employer was participating in the convention there. It was the last day of the convention & we were not able to get "proof" that they requested since the convention was over...the cast member was very helpful & gave us the passes without showing her anything. So apparentely it is up to the discretion of the cast member at guest services whether to give you the 3-day pass or not if you don't have proof that you or a family member is there for business. This may have changed since last year, just thought I'd put my 2 cents in...I know a 3-day Park Hopper would be great for those last minute and long weekend trips! Check out what companies are represented in the conference rooms at the resort you're in (if they have a conference room), they will have signs at the entrance doors...go to Guest Services & say your spouse works for Company X and you were told by the company that you can get a 3-day park hopper...all they can do is say no...it never hurts to ask!

The only problem with purchasing hopper passes for more days than we will use this trip is the initial cash outlay. I can't justify putting out that much money knowing we aren't using all of the days on this trip. The money for the extra days' admissions could be used on this trip for dining and other extras. Forcing us to purchase extra days will actually result in less money spent in the parks now (for our family).

We just came back and used the 3 day 3 park passes. We had 1 hopper day left over from a prior visit. We didn't miss the hopping on the other days. We enjoyed ourselves and went on the "slower" non early entry days, which let us sleep in (yea!!). We never realized how much time is lost "hopping" before this. If we ever go back, we will do the bounce back tickets again, and use the saved money to make our trip a little more magical.

Iam in the same boat Wolfie. We are going for 4 nights in Dec. We will be going to the MVMCP the day we get there and leaving early the last day we are there. I would love it if they had a 3 day hopper, and I dont want to pay the extra for a 4 day hopper cant really afford it now. So I guess we will go with the 3 day 3 park passes. We are thinking of going to Universal one day and maybe visiting Animal Kingdom and Epcot on the next day. I hope I can use 2 of the passes in one day, I have been told yes I can use 2 of my 3 day 3 park passes in one day. Any one know about this?

Absolutely. They are two separate admissions. If you choose to use all three of them the same day in different parks you may.
