Any discounts for meals at the resorts

Wondering if we can get any discounts for Luau, character dining or Tchop Chop and etc. with a PAP or AAA discount? It was wonderful to be able to flash my PAP at Mythos and Lombardi's and get 15% discount on the food bill.

With the PAP you save 10% at Trattoria del Porto at PBH, The Kitchen at HRH, Islands Dining Room at RPR, and the Wantilan Luau at RPR. AAA may give the same discounts.

you also get a discount at the Character Breakfast at Confiscos. Can't remember if it was 10 or 15% when we were there, but did seem to make a noticeable difference. If you read the AP newsletter, it tells you how much the discount is.

Someone should start a post on all the discounts (restaurants and stores) you can get with the APH and all the discounts you can get with AAA.
So those with both know which to use and where to get the best discount.

I think that is a great idea! I will be getting my AP when I arrive at Universal by ordering it online and picking it up through the kiosk so won't have any actual discount information until I do that and am just wondering during the planning for the trip what discounts are available and how it compares to the AAA discount.

The PAP is worth every penny. We saved $9 with preferred parking (only paid $4, regular parking is free), 20% off of merchandise in the stores and vendor carts, and 15% of the sit-down restaurants inside of the park. I loved shopping in the Spiderman Store and got clearance t-shirts, sweats, and outfits with an additional 20% by using the PAP. There are a lot more boys' stuff at Universal so I was happy to do some shopping for my 5 year old son. Earlier in the week, I bought a bunch of stuff for my daughter at WDW and felt bad for son. He complained and asked why his sister get all the stuff from Disney. He was beaming from ear to ear when I got him the cool t-shirt and tank top at the Spidey store.

Good to know that I can get discounts for the Luau and dining in the resorts. I wonder about Tchop Chop. Anyone else know about Tchop Chop and getting a PAP discount?

I don't believe you get a discount when you dine at the resorts. Here are the PAP discounts:

I saw the the big list of discounts listed on the universal ticket website,I'm wondering if anyone who alredy has their passes know what the much, much more... discounts are that it says at the very bottom of the big listing.

The "much, much more" are specials each month. For instance this month PAP owners get a free room upgrade, a lanyard, and a special discount for the character breakfast.

You find out what the specials are from the newsletters or from logging onto to the special passholder site.

I believe I read earlier that there were room upgrades for APH holders but only until the 18th or so of June? Do you know if that info is correct? And is it true that APH do not get you free parking at the hotels only at the parks?

The AP website says:

You don't get free parking at the hotels just at the parks.

i bought my us 5 day pass (buy 2 day 2 park for $99) in april and received with it $150 plus coupons for discounts.

it include % off on resturants at the hotels. (and parks like mythos)

when i go in october i do not plan to use them.
let me know if you are interested in any of them.

sorry, only citywalk garage. I don't think there are any discounts for parking at the resorts.

Preferred annual pass. There are two annual passes: PAP and Seasonal annual pass. Only the PAP gives you all the discounts and free parking.
