With everybody talking about being able to get the 40% off codes I just made two calls to WDW, but neither CM was able to get me any kind of a discount for May 5th-13th. When I mentioned the different codes to the first one, he got a little huffy and asked where I had gotten those codes as they were not attached to my file. I just told him that some people I knew had gotten the discounts (who also didn't have the pin # attached to their profile). He quickly said that anyone who booked these codes without having the pin in their profile would have the computer not honor them at check in.
The second CM was much more helpful and took the time to really look around to see what she could come up with, but also said that I couldn't use any of the codes because they were not attached to my profile. She also said that because I was an AP holder that I probably had more than one profile on file, as most AP holders did. She even checked using my old address. She did tell my that AP rates should be out by mid February and to watch my Email, as I should receive an Email about them. I told her I had never received an Email and was curious as to why I had never received a pin, because I had signed up for everything I could find. She then looked and said my profile said for them not to contact me by Email.
I told her I had just checked my profile at WDW.com just a few days ago to make sure they could contact me. She said she didn't know what happened but would correct it, so I could receive Emails from them and hopefully I'd start receiving PIN#s. Anyway if you're like me and have never received a pin you might want to call and have them check your profile to make sure it says to allow emails. I swear when I check their site my profile says to send me emails.
Anyway has anyone been able to get any kind of discount for early May? I don't need tickets, but would buy a one day ticket if I could get a good discounted pkg (or would love a room only discount either for that matter).

So, now I'm wondering if I should change my dates to Sept so I can get a discount, even though that would be really inconvenient for us because we have other things going on at that time, or should we hope for an early May discount...
