ANY discounts EVER for December???

Are there EVER any discounts for December offered?? Free dining, room discounts, ANYTHING??? I am looking for 2008, but any previous info about December in the past or this year would be interesting to note!!! Thanks!

Free dining, never, but there are some good package discounts for GP. There are AP room only discounts available too, along with FL discounts. But you need to keep in mind that there is also a 2 week blackout as the holidays approach and the next round of discounts will begin probably January 3rd. Just check the disney website for specials.

In 2004 there sure was a December discount because I took advantage of it. We had been thinking of visiting for Christmas and we opened the Travel section of the Dallas Morning News and there was a Disney ad for reduced prices at the resorts. As I recall, the value resorts were $49, $85 for the moderates and $149 for the deluxes.

We chose the $85 price for a moderate (Port Orleans Riverside - Alligator Bayou for our family of 5) that had been going for $184 during the holiday period. We couldn't pass it up!

As it turned out, the weather was damp and cool, but we didn't care. The holiday atmosphere of Disney World is hard to beat.

I don't recall anything like that since.

I always get the 40% discounts offered during the beginning of the year. They are also offered in early Fall and we're just about due to get a room-only promo for December. My two visits to AKL have been $129.00 for a standard room view. I was lucky to get upgraded on both trips to a Savannah room view at no cost.

We never do packages as we buy our park hoppers on a military base since they don't charge tax. In San Antonio, the tax is 8.125% so there's quite a bit of savings for each pass. It's always nice to purchase the passes prior to August 1st since this is when they typically up the price of park admission; at least that's how it's been the last 2 years recalling from memory.

Our 8 day stay will cost us $1440.00 at AKL (with 1 night at ASMo) and 8 day park hoppers. Regular package price is $2621.78.

I am going to go ahead and book my resssie for next Dec 2008 and hope for a code to come out! I am looking at 11/27-12/5...I hope that is not when PopWarner is going on. Does anyone know??

We have ressie for Dec 4-13. I would love a discount to become available! We have a split stay because there wasn't a 9 night open for 5 unless we wanted a concierge room. I could use a room only or package discount.
We had a package discount Last Dec. Got that code the summer before, the Visa code with dining.

I just got a pin in the snail mail today for dates including December 8-23 for value resorts at $64 a night, and "other resorts and room types available at varying rates". It is a pin code, but you could call and see if there is a pin attached to your name, or keep checking your mailbox. Good luck!

The December discounts are for this year are already out, but I think you have to book by today or very soon if not today.
We have had a December discount for the last 4 years, they usally come out in August or september.

Hi everyone....does anyone know if there is a Visa code or General Public room only code available? We are not passholders but we need a code for room only for a deluxe. Is there one out there, or just individual pin codes? Thanks!

Not sure if you are talking about Gen. Public codes, or AP. I ahev past AP rates listed on my site from 2003-present.

We are going in a few weeks for MNSSHP...and we want to go again next December 5-14...I know itis way too early for codes for that...but I was just wondering if any ever come available!
