Any Discounts Coming For Dec? Please Help?

I am hoping to plan a trip to WDW in early Dec. for 5 or 6 nights. I would prefer to stay at a deluxe resort (WL, AKL, Poly, or Contemporary). I was hoping there would be some discount codes offered for this time of year, being that it is not too busy. I was hoping on a package involving meals, but I would settle for a discounted rate on hotel only. Does anyone know if discounts have been offered during this time in the past few years? and if so, when do they usually become available? I appreciate any help anyone can give me.

We used one just last year, a package discount. If any are going to come out it is usally late August or September before we hear about them.
I'm also hopeing that one comes out that is better then the AAA one we currently have.

It's going to be a wait yet before there might be anything out. End of August or early Sept has been historical but it could be longer.

Thanks for the help. do you know if you can book a room now and then apply the discount if and when it comes out, or do you have to wait for the discount to be available to book and get the discounted rate? Will Disney honor the discount if the reservation has already been made?

You can book the room now and apply the discount IF there is one available for your dates, resort and room type.

We are going Nov.29-Dec.5. When I booked the trip in May, there was no availability at the Contemporary for a garden view or tower room (a few suites were available) so I made other plans. After calling daily for a few weeks, I finally got the garden view room. My point is that even if a discount code comes out, I doubt that I will be able to take advantage of it since the hotel is already booked.

According to their website, there is availability at the Poly for that time.
