Wanting to download the LINES application. I am guessing I need to purchase the one yr subscription to Touring Plans first. Is there a place where I can find a current code? Thanks!

Hmmm...not sure if this answer's your question, but I got a discount on my membership from buying the 2010 Guide.

What kind of discount? :confused3 Its 10.95 for a year.

Don't know..... When I went to register there was a spot to put in a discount code. Figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Thanks for the suggestion about the 2010 Guide. Hadn't looked at that yet. Never done any of the touring plans, but wanted to download the Lines app this trip.

I would suggest buying this book. I have been to Disney around 20 times in my life and have used every guide book imaginable. IMO - the UG has so much great info and is dead on in their touring plans. The only draw back is there is too much stuff and if you try and read everything it can be overwhelming. The line app is great but if you get the book and take their suggestions I guarantee you will not have to wait long for anything no matter when you go!

Thanks. Will def look into it. I generally go 2-3 times a year. Never been in August before, and am honestly dreading it for many reasons. I am comfortable with being able to predict lines and wait times through the fall and winter months. Just no clue about the summer time.

That is funny because we have always gone in August but this year we are going in Dec. I will tell you that it is very hot!!!!!!!!!!! The best advice I can give to you is do the RD and then take a break midday and then return later in the evening. The parks are open late and getting there at RD you will be abale for the first hour or so to jump on the rides without waiting in line then once the park fills up leave and grab lunch, swim take a nap then go back in the evening when everyone else is headed out because of being in the heat all day!

We never make rope drop. :( Only one of my kids likes RD, and he is not going with me this trip. I have been going with each of my kids alone, with a friend of theirs. My 3 kids just argue and fight so much that everyone is misreable when they are together. Just easier for me, and more fun for them! LOL I am planning to hang out at the water parks for a few days, then hit the main parks in the evenings after dinner. My favorite month to travel is October...

I no longer receive the weekly news letters. I knew I could find it there, but since I don't receive it I cant get the code. Hoping they were public codes somewhere. Not a big deal in the end. Thanks!!

If you own one of several books, you get 50% off that 10.95

the books are:
The Color Companion to Walt Disney World, 1st edition
2010 Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World
Mini-Mickey, 8th edition
Walt Disney World with Kids 2010
Walt Disney World for Grown-Ups, 6th edition

I bought the book, looked up the first and last word on the two pages, and nothing. Frustrating! I'll try the allears.net thing.

Shoot them an email. If you bought the book they'll make it right for you.
