Any disadv. to booking FTP w/ AAA v. WDTC?

Is there any disadvantage to booking the FTP through my local AAA v. WDTC? I would like to give my local folks the business but don't want to miss out on anything. For example, will a resort be less likely to upgrade us if we used AAA to book the reservation?
