i've been looking and looking for dresses that i would like for my bridesmaids but none of them have caught my eye. everything looks exactly the same. anyone have any "different" styles that they've seen or have had at their weddings? my personality is a little "out there" normally so i want to find some dresses that are maybe a bit funky or different.

thanks for the help.

I'm right there with ya! They're all the basic strapless, tie around the waist in an alternate color type dress. Subscribing to see what answers you get :)

Well I have to admit Im having the coolest bridesmaids dresses ever!
I dont have pictures yet but I will describe.
They are wearing White linen off shoulder Chemise's with Purple/black underbust bodices, that lace up the front in 3 places.
My mom and I are making them but I can give your the pattern number I'm sure it wouldnt be hard to find a seamstress to make them its a very very easy pattern
We are having a medieval themed wedding.

Heres the pattern Im using the bodice on the right.
And its a short sleeved dress and no layers.
*squeels* Im so excited its going to look so awsome!

I was looking for something different too! :thumbsup2 And since I'm only having one bridesmaid (matron of honor) I was desperately trying to convince her to get vintage dress, or at least something off the rack. But, we went to a bridal shop and found this dress, and it really was much different than any of the others that we saw. It's a green brochade that matches my fall color scheme, and it looks really cute on my bridesmaid, especially when she wears her retro 50's glasses.

PS. Don't judge the dress by the model. Me thinks that model is a little small waisted, and busty. My bridesmaid looks much cuter in it! :teeth:

i think those will look really cute! although, i don't think they'll really go with the theme/colors of my wedding. but i can't wait to see how they will look for yours! you HAVE to post pictures of that along with your dress. are you also the one making her dress? i think i saw a sketch of it on the Wedding Dress sticky! it's very pretty!
