I have been searching for weeks, and anything out of EWR (Newark) for Nov 7 (evening :( I have to work that day- till 2:40. I live 10-20 minutes from the airport.) to Nov 11 (evening) is *outrageous*! Anyone know of any deals? :goodvibes

apparently not! lol :lmao:

bumping just in case anyone knows of any!

I dont know of anythign specifically, but my flights in October were recently changed. They are adding flights and changing times, so pehaps they will add more flights to the Nov. Schedule too - that may help with prices. I fly from Newark too, and i find that Continental is cheaper than even some of the discount lines like JB. I got 158 r/t in Oct. just a month or so ago for my Oct trip so i dont hink its hopeless yet!
Good luck!

I had to make a short notice trip to the Orlando area from the NYC area this Friday and the prices on JB and Delta were pretty pricey (over $200) except for the very late flight out of JFK. I used Sidestep (http://www.sidestep.com) to search a broader swath and found an EWR to DAB (Daytona Beach) direct flight on Continental (they have two a day) for $89 each way ($101 with taxes and fees). DAB is a smaller airport and easy in and out with rental cars just as cheap as MCO. It is about an hour to the Disney area from here, but for the price it was worth it. Good luck in your flight search for Jersey week!!

expedia has round trip for $219... jet blue is usually decent out of newark, but they only allow you to book 6 months ahead and they're not showing november yet. my sister went down that week last year and i think only paid $99 each way.

I just booked a direct flight with Continental (EWR to MCO) for a July 4th trip = $202, which includes all taxes and fees!

I'm still waiting for JB flights to open up for November. We are planning a trip to WDW during Jersey week. Hopefully, we'll be able to snag some great rates with JB.

in early April and paid $197/rt pp. Right now Continental is showing well over $300 for November. We are also going Jersey week and I figure I'll just have to wait for something to open up. We paid around $145/rt last year on Song for the same time but I don't think that will happen again.

I check regularly every day and have only seen the fares go up. Our tickets for September went up $5 each way already (not much but adds up quickly).

Hope we all find something that works. Might have to consider flying into Sanford or DB if the fares are better and driving (we rent a car anyway so no big deal, just some extra travel time).

I'm also waiting on JetBlue for November flights for Jersey week. I'm really hoping the fares are decent, because right now Continental out of Newark is extremely high and I prefer to fly direct from Newark.

Bashful - how did you just get $202? I assume it is not non stop. I checked the other day all all nonstop flights were well over $200. Thanks

VWL Five - we're leaving on an afternoon flight on July 3 and returning on a late flight on July 6. I just checked and there were still some flights available at $187 ($206 includes taxes).

We originally wanted to return on July 7, but the rate was not available for this day. I did notice that I was getting different rates at different times of the day (some flights were $20 more). I just kept checking and checking and finally settled on the flights above.

Hope this answers your question.
