Ive been reading the 2 "yarn books" and enjoying them - want to read more by her
Has anyone read the "street series"? 204 Rosewood Lane, 311 Pelican Court, 6 Rainier Drive - do you know if they "feed" off each other? or can I skip around?

I've read some of the street series. So far they seem to be individual stories. I really enjoy them.

So now I have a question for you...what are the yarn books?

I've read the street books in order. They really do feed off the previous one. At least it's easy to figure out the order (#6 Rainier is the sixth book.)

I have always read series books in order, even when they don't ned to be! (like Sue Grafton's Alphabet books & Janet Evanovich's numbered books.)

A Good Yarn and The Shop on Blossom Street. I think they should be read in order.

the Street books do feed on each other...If you could, I would read them in order. Unfortunely, i find, the time between the release dates, hard to remember if you are reading them at their time of the their print( which I am).

You will enjoy reading them quickly in order..kinda like watching a whole TV series at once on DVD...instant gratification!

You can skip around and it's not a huge deal. It can give away a bit of the story lines, but it's not like if you didn't read the first one, you can't understand the 3rd one.

I've read the yarn books too, and they probably should be read in order.

I've also read quite a few of her Navy books. They are VERY easy reads.

Out of all of them, I probably like the yarn ones the best. The street series has some interesting takes on family dynamics that I enjoy, but they are a little more like mind candy to me.

I have read all of those books that you mentioned.

I think you could read them in any order and still clue in to what they are about.

I, also like to read any series books in order too.

Doesn't the next Street series come out in May? or was it September?

One every year.:sad2: it drives me crazy that it will take over 10 years to finish the series(wait....will it be 10 books or 12...now I can't remember:upsidedow )! On the other hand....I love the books, and you don't HAVE to read them in order, they are individual stories on their own. Each book will recap what has happened so far(not always in the beginning though...some take a few chapters)

Every september.....I only remember that because I get the new one to read on our annual disney trips!

thank you
our library has a few of them, others i would need to order from other libraries
i can take longer to read the ones from our library, will need to make sure i have the time to read the ones borrowed from other libraries
and yes i am enjoying the yarn books - any chance for a 3rd?
