Any deals on California Car Hire?

Firstly - not sure if this is in the right forum so please feel free to move if it is in the wrong place

We are planning a trip to California in September - just booked flights with Air New Zealand and I am now looking for car hire.

Our dates are 22 Sept - 1 Oct pick up and drop off at LAX. We will be looking for a full size SUV and the best price I have found so far is around £300 - just wondering if there are any offers around that I should be looking at?

You could still go thru that site and follow the instructions how to get cashback, GMC Envoy (or similar)Full size SUV 4dr would now be around £265 almost certainly with Alamo.

Or Hertz.co.uk, AA Discount/CDP/Club Code: 504335 & 10% cashback (expires in 6 days) http://www.quidco.com/hertz-uk/
They have a Chevy Traverse 7 seater(says std SUV but 7 seater you could get anything in the Full size range) for 245.54 less 10% = £221

Unfortunately I didn't make my mind up until last night - was trying to decide if we should be responsible and do stuff to the house instead!
