I see on the news that the CWA has given the 24hr notice to strike, so I guess it's going to happen. UGH

DH will have to work 12 hour- 7 days.

Let's hope for a speedy resolution!

Yes, it is. The union is going to put in the 24hr strike notice today. So we should know today if the CWA will strike.
Bleech.

Lucky my dh did not get assigned out of state. Some employees have to go all over the USA.

I just called DH to see if he heard anything yet. He says he hasn't yet. As far as I know he is assigned to the same position he is now and the same place. His company is owned by SBC so they were asked (told)"to help out" during any strike. He already said that if for some reason he goes to work and they are picketing there he is coming home! Although he doubts anyone will picket where he works because most people don't associate them with SBC. I guess if these hours start then neither of us will be working at Germain Amphitheater this year. My car isn't reliable enough to go any long distance and currently can't be driven at all! HMM...the OT pay would be helpful though
