I read that the CS Mexican eatery is closed for refurb. I am thinking that I also read that you can get Mexican food (without going to the TS place) somewhere. We always eat the CS Mexican and hate that it will be closed. Anyone know where if anyplace we can get CS Mexican in EP and what the offerings are? We will be there May 15-23. Thanks:thumbsup2

yes. They have a cart setup with offerings from Cantina de San Angel. It's right there next to the pavilion

Thats good news, do you know if they offer everything or is it just a couple of things?

I'm not sure since we didn't eat there but I know I saw someone eating nachos and someone with a platter of some sort. That's all the info I have, sorry :)

It looked like the full menu but there is no place to eat it unless you sit on the ground or on the steps to the Mexico Pavillion or go to another CS area and eat there.

Taqueria del Lago does not serve the full cantina menu - and of the items it does serve I believe a couple of them were NOT served at the cantina.

There is also no seating. It's just a kiosk. It was put up for the Food and Wine Festival last year, and was left up when the Cantina closed for renovation.

This page has a menu.

There is no children's menu and I believe it does take DDP.

Thanks for the link to the menu. I dont see the delicious nachos on there that we usually get:guilty:
Guess we will have to wait for our next trip. Wish they had a few more offerings:rolleyes1
