Looking to take my dd to BAB and was wondering if any one had any luck with any coupons. Thanks.

This maybe a little off of the original topic but how much does it cost to Build A Bear? We are going on vacation to Myrtle Beach and they have a Build A Bear workshop and I am thinking about taking my girls. Thanks in advance for the info.

go to the build a bear website and they have pictures of what they look like and how much they cost. The very cheapest is $10. Then you add the cost of sound and clothes if they want thoses. When we go, we try to get out for under $40.

My ds built a monky last week at a party, they paid the base $10, he upgraded to an $18 monkey, then we spent another $15 on outfit,(cute little sandals) so I paid $23 total....but it was a party! :cheer2:

Hmmm... I have 3 children who LOVE Build A Bear and am lucky to get away w/ spending $75! But it's worth every penny to see the smiles on their faces, we have quite the collection going.

We just took middle son for his 4th birthday to build a bear. I was hoping to spend about $30. The bear was $18, clothes $14, and shoes $8 for a total of $40. Not too bad, but it does add up when they want socks, shoes, hat etc. Oh and be careful, each one of the build a bear workers tried to get us to buy something else (oh he needs sound, needs a hat, needs a brush for his fur. No thanks!!) I spent more on the build a bear clothes than I do my own kids clothes. That's the truth!! But he loves it!!

That is totally the truth...I can get the girls clothes on clearance and rarely pay more than $10 an outfit...but go to Build A Bear and I think nothing of buying a $12 outfit for a stuffed animal! The girls really want the Build A Bear Disney Princess dresses at $15 each and I paid that much for their actual costumes during the Disney Shopping code-stacking glitch last summer! Even my clothes are cheaper than the ones their stuffed animals wear...if only there was a Build A Bear outlet or they put the seasonal clothes on clearance:)

And semi-off topic...they discontinued the Belle costume that dd-3 would love and when I looked on ebay it is selling for $200!!!! Now THAT is insane!
