Any cool ideas for a 12 yr old girl...

My dd is 12, soon to be 13 and is also tough to buy for. She wants a Northface and an iPod touch.

I recently got her a hook rug kit and she loves that.
I also taught her to do simple counted cross stitch-she liked that too.

Last year she got a drawing book, GOOD sketching pencils from an art store, and a sketch pad. She's really enjoyed that and has really improved in her drawing.

My daughter is almost 12. She would love Science kit-type of things. Borders has them in their kids dept. Also games or magnet sets. I know what you mean about something to play with that morning.
Is she crafty? Craft stores have tons of things kids would like.

Is she a reader? My 12yr old DD is getting a Kindle, she is a bookworm and that's the only thing she wants.

My daughter got one last year--oh it is the best gift she has ever gotten. She adores it--I am sure your daughter will be thrilled too

DD loves her Flip Video she got a few years back. Its easy to use and she'd have alot of fun with it on Christmas especially If not, maybe a decent camera for her age that takes pictures as well, it's another favorite of DDs and she now is using different photo software to "play with her pictures". She recently did a photobook for a school project and the teacher liked it so much the school bought one for themselves to share with incoming students.
