Any Constustruction planned for GF in November?

I have been struggling with splitting our stay between AKL and GF. We are booked for GF for our stay in mid November. Now I am reading about all the construction of AKL while they build the AKV. Does anyone know when the constuction will be done. I don't want to switch my resort to a AK if there will be construction and the possibility of having to move.

But then I started thinking I saw someone say there is refurbishing planned for GF this year. Does anyone know about that? Thanks for any info.

I too would like to know about the GF, we will be there over Thanksgiving, RPC.

They are redoing all the rooms. Not sure if you consider that construction. You will not be able to tell from the outside the room is being done. And you might get a new room as they have already started.

They hope to be finished in Dec.

Oh Thank you! What kind of refurbish are they doing? Something similar to what they did at WL? Flat screne tv, new comforters stuff like that? I guess other than some possible paint smells, it should be fine! And your right maybe we would get a refurbished room! Thanks for responding!

Just like Polynesian and Contemporary, new everything, furniture, TVs, carpet bedding, drapes, wall coverings, etc. and some minor changes to the bathroom area of course in a decor themed to the Grand Floridian.
