Are there computer areas (business center, etc) available to people at any of the WDW resorts? Just realized that orientation registration for my college begins next week while we're in Disney, and to get the better sessions (and there's only one that really works with my schedule) you need to register asap.

You can bring a laptop. Or, I found out when I asked a few months ago that htere is a business center at the Dolphin. It's expensive, though.

Per AllEars:
"Disney's convention hotels all have business centers. Those hotels include: the Contemporary, the Yacht Club, the Swan and Dolphin, the Boardwalk, Coronado Springs and the Grand Floridian."
All the centers have computers. Hope this helps.

Wow, thanks for the quick responses. I dont have a laptop. We're staying at the WL, so I'll probably see if I can get into the business center at the Contemporary. I'm sure it's expensive, but this may be a bit of a necessity. Thanks again!!

$10 for fiften minutes, printers are available, I think $.25 per print.

Thank heavens I am not the only one in a computer jam. I take classes online and just realized, through a miscommunication with student services, that my Disney trip is booked for the week of finals. :sad2: Now, most people would change their trip...me? I'm looking for a way to take my finals the day we arrive. ;) Now I know that in a pinch I can take the exam at the CR. Thank you for posting that answer!!! :goodvibes

If you are going to need to be on for more than fifteen minutes or so, and have a car, you might be better off driving to Kinko's, there's one nearby (Sand Lake Road maybe?) that will cost about half of what WDW charges.

Oh! Thanks for the heads up Duck. I live in GA, so we are driving down and will have our own car for the duration of the trip. Thank you for mentioning Kinkos. I may be able to borrow a laptop from a friend, but I want to have a backup plan in place....you never know ;)

Thanks again,
Tish

Anne is exactly right on both counts. Last Dec I went to the Kinko's daily and it was busy every time with tourists. It's definitely the best value, especially since they charge per minute. I think that the only thing there that is somewhat costly is printing.

You might also consider renting a laptop before you go and simply using it in your hotel room. Might make it easier to concentrate on your exam rather than the line to use the PC after you...

Good luck on your exam! :flower:

:earboy2: This was my thought exactly. I live in a tiny little town in Virginia but our local "rent everything" shop has laptops for 29.95/week. We're just gonna grab one before we leave and not have to worry about fee's, lines or hassels.
Good luck and have fun. :cheer2:
