Since we are all looking for cheaper rooms, packages, dining,tickets.........
Does anybody have input to find cheaper/discounted reliable airfare?
Any great Ding stories? What airline will come across with some deals, that kind of thing. Let's all save a few x-tra $ to spend @ Disney.:cool1:

DBF and I got a GREAT deal out of Cleveland using Southwest-:cool1: $175 (each) roundtrip, nonstop both ways! :cool1: We drove down last year and spent more than that on gas and an overnight stop each way so we were super psyched! I think the deals they're offering are good til the 22nd of Feb

I can beat that! I just booked USAir from Detroit for our trip in Sept for 49 dollars each way!!! I had to add a single day at the POP because we had to leave the afternoon before to get 49 both ways. i got a AAA rate of 73.80(not the elusive 40%off). i didn't touch my other reservation because no how no way am I messin' with that one. This still beat my best price ever by 90 dollars for 3 people. If you add in the extra 10 dollars Spirit is charging for your second bag(x3 people each way=60 dollars) I saved a bundle!!:cheer2:

How long until your trip?

We paid $104 per person roundtrip (nonstop each way) from Baltimore to MCO when we went to Disney in Sept. Already had flights booked, then found the ding about a month out!! :thumbsup2 We saved about $70 per person!!!

Southwest or Jetblue ?

I know about the DING. What does jet blue do to let us know about discounted fares?

AAA discounts on Air? I wouldn't of thought. Aybody else w/ this experience?

Let's all save some $$$$$$$$$

I got one way from Orlando to PHL for $27 last night on Airtran!!! Yes $27.00 + tax which made it $215 for 6 one way tickets.

I couldn't get the same price down so I'll wait for another sale or a good DING.

Ok, hold onto your hats!

I got Spirit nonstop for .16 cents each way. With taxes came out to 79.00 total for four people!!! It's the only reason we're taking another trip this year!!!

Sign up for the Spirit e-mails. They are always having a sale!!!

Hi
I got this same deal last night too! :thumbsup2 I couldn't believe it. But I did pay the $99 going down from Philly. I was going to just get the one way and then see if Southwest or Air Tran would have a cheaper flight going down, but it was still pretty cheap and I was afraid I wouldn't get the early 7 AM flight that I wanted. I also booked for 6 people.

This isn't the greatest deal, but we got ORD to MCO for $177 per person and used my discover card. They are currently offering 5% cash back on vacation purchases (which was $30 to my account "pool") plus we had saved almost $400 since our last redemption last summer which we cashed in on the same statement to off set the cost (almost $600 for 3 tickets after the fees).

Ding is a program that you download from Southwest airline. It puts a little icon on your computer and Dings with special deals that are for a limited time only. If you fly from an airport that does SW, it is definitely worth your while to install as it can save you $$$$$$$
