Will be visiting Hollywood Studios for first time visit, one day midweek this august, family includes a 9, 7 and 4 yr old.
Is this schedule realistic/possible? Should we make any changes? And based on the sched below when should we try and do the incredibles and disney junior? TY.

8:30 Arrive
9 Alien Swirling Saucers
10 Toy Story Mania (fast pass t1)
11 Beauty and The Beast (fast pass t2)
12-3 Lunch & Break
3:30 Voyage of the little mermaid (fast pass t2)
4:30 Frozen (fast pass t2)
5:30 Muppet Vision
6 Indiana Jones
7 Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy
8 Head to 8:30 Fantasmic

5:30 Muppet Vision
6 Indiana Jones

This is the only possible problem I see. Assuming the Indy show is at 6:00, I don't think you'll make it through Muppet and over to the Indy theater before the show starts. If you can get to Muppets closer to 5:15, you'll probably be okay.

You have quite a bit back to back and if you don't want to run from activity to activity you may want to rethink what you do when.

Alien and TSM are very close to each other so those 2 are good. Beauty and the Beast is at Sunset Blvd which is on the other side of the park. The Animation Courtyard is closer to TSL so Little Mermaid may be a better choice there.

Then I'd do your break.

When you came back I'd do Beauty and the Beast first ( this is 30 minutes long ), The Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy ( this is also on Sunset Blvd near Beauty and the Beast ), then Frozen ( 30 minutes ) , then Indiana Jones ( 30 minutes ) , then Muppet Vision ( 25 minutes ) and finally Fantasmic.

You have one too many FPs listed under tier 2 - you only get 3 total ( 1 tier 1 and 2 tier 2 ). You can also try for a 4th but that can only be done after you have used all 3 of your passes.

You'll also have to find out what times Beauty and the Beast, Frozen and Indiana Jones are playing as they are not continual all day long.

lunch & break time -- I suggest you ask for some opinions on how long this needs to be. Personally, I never do it anymore because I find it is too much effort for too little reward, but lots of people plan breaks, so you should be able to find some advice.

When it is break time, you need to:
1. walk to transportation
2. wait for bus/tram to parking lot if you drove
3. drive to resort
4. walk to your room

if you are really lucky, this will take 30-40 minutes, but it could easily take 1 hour or more. (maybe the kids walk slow, someone needs a bathroom break, the bus takes 20 minutes to arrive etc...)

You'll need to do this in reverse when you go back to the park, but add time to go through security and tapstiles. So you're looking at 2 hours in transportation.

This leaves you with 1 hour for lunch and break. If all the steps of your transportation goes smoothly, maybe you'll have closer to 2 hours for lunch & break. To me, when the kids were little, the effort of getting everyone back to the room was not worth a 1 hour rest. We were better off with a sitdown meal and a show in AC as a mid day break. IF you only have 3 hours for break, this is alternate break for you to consider.

When our kids were little we hit the parks at rope drop and left around 2 or 3. We took our break then, ate dinner and either returned to the parks or relaxed in the room and went to bed depending on how tired the kids were.

I’d play it by ear. Disney is an exhausting place for kids. You might find you are trying to cram too much into one day.

I disagree with you. They have an hour slotted for every activity until Muppets/Indy, so they have plenty of time between activities to not be running around.

They are leaving the park after Beauty, so making the trek to Sunset after TSL makes sense to me as they'll be closer to the exit from there.

Mermaid and Frozen are relatively close to each other upon their return. Doing the Cars Racing Academy last also makes sense since they are going to F! from there and it's close by.

Overall, it looks good and very doable. Frozen sing along is only 30 minutes so you should be out about 5 and hopefully in Muppets by 5:15. Its a 15 minute show, plus the pre show, so this is the one area that could be aproblem to get to Indy by 6.
Also a concern as noted above for the break. Depending where you are staying, travel could take the better part of 2 hours with waiting for transportation.

is the incredibles a ride or a show? my kids just saw the movie and they are fans etc. if the incredibles cannot realistically be inserted in to my sched above, what should we remove?

Incredibiles is a dance party that's there all day long.

I would move Muppets to after beauty and the beast, before the break (and cut the break shorter). Then, after Frozen, check out the Incredibles dance party for 15 min or so before heading to Indy.

How long does beauty and the beast go on for?

Would it be ok for young kids?
Depends on the kid. The library pre show is the scariest part and you can see it on you tube.

The ghosts you see during the ride aren't really scary.

The "drop" portion is not your typical drop tower. It goes up and down fast, but you're in an enclosed elevator with a floor. And it's pulled down, not dropped, which makes it feel less scary than a drop tower(even though it's actually faster)

re muppets, there isnt a showtime sched for the midweek august date, it just says 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Does it run every half hr consistently throughout the day?

re transportation and uber, does hollywood studios have the same prob as magic kingdom re not having a drop off right in front just in case we miss bus to/from hotel and dont want to wait? (prob gonna be in one of the hotels near disney springs/french quater)

Yes, it is a constantly running show so you won't see a schedule for this one.
