Any chance of Fantasmic Package at 45 day??

For the first time ever we planned a Disney trip 3 months out and there are no packages left. Do you think there is any chance I will get one?? My 2 1/2 yr old is going this trip so I am trying to minimize waiting for anything

Extremely unlikely. There are limited packages available and people generally do not cancel them. They are even tough to get at 180 days out, let alone 45.

You should make a backup plan.

Well, I DO think it has a CC guarantee. So if someone isn't going they WILL cancel. That said, the chances ARE low. I tried every day before our last trip and never got one. This one is a little harder too since I think you have to call to get it.

Regardless, my advice is always:

1) check around 45 days as you mentioned, because that's when the final payment on a package is due and some people cancel entire trips, freeing up their ADR's.

2) keep checking up til the last day before. Because of the cc guarantee, people DO cancel if their plans change.

3) sign up for the cancelled ADR thread here on the DIS for your month. People post when they are canceling ADR's.

Otherwise, plan on getting in line EARLY. I think the people around you would understand if one of you left with the 2 1/2 year old to entertain you while the other was in line. As long as it wasn't 1 person holding a spot for 10, and was one adult and one child, I can't imagine anyone complaining. They'd probably prefer that over standing in line for a long time with an unhappy child!

I am going to try it too. I will start calling multiple times a day at 55 days out (10 + my 45 day mark) because some people will have booked it for the last day of their trip. I hope that makes sense and isn't 'fuzzy math'.

I got one just recently for an end of September trip....so just around the 45 day mark...don't think I got it because of cancellations....I was looking at the calendar/schedule for Hollywood Studios and saw that they had added some fantasmic shows during the week I was there and called to see if they had added any fantasmic dinner packages. And they did. So, it is not completely hopeless and I would recommend watching the fantasmic schedule for the week you are there and call if you see any changes.....use the wdwinfo.com schedule. It seems to be more current than the one on the disney website. Hope this helps.
