any chance of an email like this leading to good things? (DCP)

just when i was about to call disneyland about my application, they hit me with a new email & i don't know if its a rejection-ish type email or if this is the famed 'pending' email. has anyone recieved anything like this:

Dear Candidate,
Thank you for your interest in the Disney College Program at the Disneyland® Resort. We were impressed with your interview however all positions have been filled at this time.

We do anticipate some additional openings for our Fall season, so we will continue to keep your application on file and will contact you if any openings occur. If you no longer wish to be considered for the fall program, please let us know by contacting us at dlr.college.recruiting@disney.com. Otherwise, you are welcome to apply for our program in a future semester should you continue to meet all required qualifications.

Looks to me like it's saying you could be in but for some reason they're already full. Such as maybe you apllied late? Who knows maybe someone will decide not to go in the fall and you can go.

How many roles did you apply for? If you only applied for a few, then they probably filled up.

i did apply late, so that makes sense. i guess now i have to wait for someone to turn the program down (although i don't know why anyone would! haha)

Well you never know maybe someone fails a summer course or finds out that a family member is sick. (Not that we want those things to happen it just could happen.)

Worst case scenario though you could apply early for Spring. I think applications start in August.

Yeah, it sounds like they really want you to work for them, but all the roles are full. Just cross your fingers and hope that they find a spot for you!

kindof sounds like my situation. i applied to WDW. i called them today and they said that i would hear by the end of the week by email and next week i would get something in the mail. i dont know if i got in or if im waiting for a rejection letter .....

When did you apply? I'm just curious.

i applied in feb. i'm supposed to be getting an email tomorrow and a package sometime next week.....they didnt say if i was in or not

Oh wow. I applied end of March. They said I was still in process, but the good news is that I haven't gotten "NO" yet. So I'm kinda scared. Lol Did you get your package?

My bf Brent got the same message and two letters recently stating the same thing. He applied in late feb. he applied for quite a few roles and was told he could go to WDW but he said he needed to stay in cali if possible and they told him over the phone it was like a "waitlist". everyone has a number and when someone declines/backs out the next person on the list gets the "acceptance" thing.

From my understanding if what his recruiter said is Yes, you WERE accepted BUT because all the roles are filled by someone more qualified/applied earlier you have to wait to see if anyone decides they can't make it. The guy also told brent he had a good chance of getting in because there is still 3 months to go and Brent was sure to tell him custodial would be an awesome role to get into (we heard that is the easiest to get into, and it was his #1 choice). we'll see how things go! Personally I think it may have to do with your work history as well. I got accepted like a week from when I applied but for something I didn't even select. I've worked in retail for the past 7 years straight tho (and still am). Because Brent hasn't worked in a year because jobs are so hard to find in cali (i'm lucky to STILL have mine) he hasn't been able to find work and it doesn't show him having the solid 6 months of work prior to applying.
