any chance of a waitlist coming through 3 weeks from now for BCV?

We just bought in sunday, and we already had a trip planned for feb 24-27 at port orleans. when we bought in, we cancelled the PO, and made a reservation at SS, because that is all that is available for all 3 nights in a studio.

last night we decided that we would stay at BCV on night 1, then move to SS since there is a room at BCV. We would love to stay at BCV all 3 nights, but there is no studio avail on sunday, feb 25, only the 24th which we have booked,and there is availability on the 26. we felt too much to change from BCV, SS, then BCV again for 3 nights.

the only night we need to open as of now is a sunday night in a studio at BCV, provided no one books the monday night stay at BCV.

what are the chances of this opening up in the next 3 weeks?

if it doesnt, we are fine with SS, but just thought it would be nice since we have never been to BCV before.

This was just pure luck for me. So I don't want to get you too excited. Just so you know "you never know".

This year before Christmas (high DVC demand) I was on a five month waitlist for BWV. Wait! Not just BWV but standard points BWV! And my waitlist never came through.

So I was sad for BWV, but happy to have OKW, and thought okay my waitlist is over. It is 7 days out.

Then I remembered the instructions to phone every day from 7 days to check-in. And I phoned and asked. And voila there it was five nights SV BWV six days pre check-in. Even the CM at MS was speechless.

Hopefully, you will have a nice surprise too!

I was able to get the BCV last October over Columbus Day weekend on one days notice. We were ona wait list that didn't come through but called every day from day 7 on. Sure enough with one day to go, we got our room. So you never know but give calling a try if you don't get it first through the normal process.
