Any chance for T-Rex?

Trip is not until August, but I'm not feeling very optimistic. I've been checking the current next day, 30 days, and my actual dates and I don't see any availability at all for dinner, ever. (I had no success on my ADR 60+ day.)

I've set alerts, and I'll keep checking, but just wondered if anyone has successfully gotten last minute ressies?

We missed this during our last trip, and kids will be too old to enjoy it if/when we come back. I could try walk in with Landry's card but we'd have to cancel my (backup) Boathouse ADR for that night. That feels a bit risky to me...

Any stories or advice?
 
Try looking numerous times each day. Also, just don’t click on “Dinner”. Scroll across, and try clicking on different times. You may get lucky.

Yes, they said they don't do phone reservations any more, even with the Landy's card

Yes, I'm doing ALL the stuff - paid alerts, checking obsessively, app & site both, all the specific half hours around the time I want, etc... I just don't know if anyone ever cancels this reservation. Are they at full capacity already?

Wow! I called directly and made a reservation less than a month ago! It took me about 1.5 hours of calling before someone finally answered but there was a ton of availability once I got through. I've also seen it come up quite a few times on my MDE since then. Don't give up! Search hour by hour vs. "lunch" or "dinner"!

Maybe try for lunch? We rarely do dinner there, but we pop in for lunch every couple of months and I always just call them directly. I just called last week for a lunch reservation on the 15th. Lunch is most likely not as busy, good luck!

How far in advance were you able to call and reserve?
 
Yak & Yeti also told me 60 days, exactly (no +5 or +10 etc) when I called to make a reservation

So that is not the number I called before - that is just Disney's main dining reservations number, not T-Rex directly. When I kept hearing the messages, "The inventory is the same as online" and "Agents cannot make a reservation for a fully booked restaurant" multiple times while on hold, I just hung up. I will try the direct T-Rex number again and report back!

I must have just gotten a grouchy person on the phone last time that didn't want to deal with it and told me no. Very friendly person helping me today! (Although sounded a little unsure, when I asked about Landry's reservations, she said, "I guess so?") but then proceeded to make the reservation. Just got my confirmation. Thanks for all the support and help here!

BTW, here is the direct line for T-Rex: 407-828-8739. I DID have to give her my Landry's Card number.

So weird- I got that right off the T-Rex website. I did call the restaurant directly. I think I got the number from the Landry’s member app. Last night I just grabbed it from the website.

Yeah, I saw it there too. Sorry if that sounded like a critique - that was not my intent. Just wanted to update info for anyone else reading this. I really, really appreciate your help!
