Any chance for seating if no reservation?

My family and I are taking a trip the end of August and we're late in the game in getting ADRs (and we'll be a party of 8) so I haven't been able to find any that we'd like. Any chance of walk ins or are we out of luck and stuck with CS?

With having a larger party, it's almost guarenteed you won't be able to get in anywhere, besides maybe less popular restaurants. Luckily counter service food is usually very good. Best of luck

That is during free dining??? Sorry to say you should keep checking, as it will be virtually impossible for that size a party. Parties of 2-4 will be out of luck as well.

During free dining it isn't uncommon to see big sandwich boards at the gates saying "no TS available, please enjoy a CS meal" by 10am.

Get adrs made for something even if it isn't your first choice. And keep checking things can open up.

Definitely keep checking the website and calling. You could also try to stop by the restaurant right as they open for lunch; sometimes they will take walk-ins for lunch this way, although it would be more of the exception than the norm. Good luck!

Your chances are slim and none. It is very unlikely that you will be seated as a walk up to a character breakfast. If they have tables available, the book them. There is always the off chance that someone cancels that morning, but do you want to make a trip all the way to a restaurant on that narrow hope?
Best bet, keep checking the web site, right up to your trip. People do cancel and you may get lucky.

I did a broad search for ADR's for Aug.28th (i picked a random date) for 8 ppl, and it gave me a list of places to eat. For example: 50's prime: 830pm, Biergarten 510pm or 735pm, Boma 555pm, Bongo's 7pm, Captains Grill 515pm and 810pm, Raglan Road 630pm. So you do have options for ADR's.

If you can't get any in advance and you're staying onsite, check with your congierge first thing in the morning before you head out. They can see what is available that day and hook you up. People are always cancelling and changing their plans. Good luck!

Don't give up. Try to make 2 ADRs for 4 people each, u might have a better chance.

I was told when I called Disney Dining that it was worth a shot.

We had reservations for 6 at CRT @ 2:30 on 7/6 and wanted to add my parents. I checked day after day without luck. We walked up and they managed to change our seating reservations for 6 to a party of 8 without problem.

You never know. I would try/check at the time just in case someone doesn't show.
