Any chance for early December 09 now?

We were just thinking that we would like to go early December and I was wondering what my chances would be now for getting either BCV, BWV, AKV or WLV. We would be getting a 2 bedroom. I know that early Dec. is a very popular time because of crowds and low points..... any experience with calling lately for that time period??

I haven't tried. Are you going to call today? What is your home resort? If you have to wait for the 7 month window, it will be hard to get other than SSR or OKW, but you should get something. If you call today, I think you stand a good chance to get something event even if you have to waitlist. It was a few years ago, we wanted 2 VWL studios for some dates in the teens of December and I didn't call exactly at 11 months out because we were doing a resale add on. We got what we wanted...times have changed since then, but here's some Pixie Dust for you!!!

We usually book at a home resort for early December. No problem with that.

You should be able to get something. For BWV, it will probably be preferred pool/garden. What is your home resort(s)?

AKV and BLT are yet to open.

AKV opens in May and Sept - with reservations being done in Feb

BLT opens in Sept - with reservations being done in March.

would definitely think you might get one for AKV if you get one in Feb - or at least get on the wait list.

who knows about BLT - really think most of the rooms won't be sold - so CRO (WDTA) will get most of them.

We just booked for December 13th. Not technically "beginning" of December, but middle and it seems that we got it no problem. Standard view studio at BWV or 5 nights.

If you cannot get your first choice now, you can hope that people have booked their home resort at 11 months and will change to BLT, the treehouses, or the newly opened AKV rooms and open up a room for you. I would try and if you can't get what you want, get on a waitlist.

Actually AKV Jambo house is open and Kidani Villiage reservations began last year in August of September.

Update! I called yesterday morning on my first break from work. I got right through and got the first dates and place I asked for! Booked BCV (our home resort) dedicated 2 bedroom for Dec 6-11! Hooey!!!!
We'll even have points to bank over to 2010.
