We just got back from our first visit to FW. When I made reservations (and prepaid for the site) back in July, I requested a preferred site for 3 nights at $51/night.
We arrived a little before 11 and were told to park in the overflow parking area until a site was available. I was advised to call about noon and see if something was open...which I did. Nothing was available, so I asked the cast member to check other loops for availability. I mentioned loop 600 because I liked that it was a smaller loop. We could get into a site immediately in loop 600, so we took it.
Long story, short... had a fabulous time, liked the site. Since it was our first visit we were unfamiliar with the various loops, amenities, etc. However, I since have realized that our site was a Full hook up and not a preferred site as I had requested and had prepaid. I am wondering if you think I am entitled to a refund or should I just chalk it up to inexperience. I think the only difference is we should have had access to cable tv....someone please correct me if I am wrong. We were too busy to turn on the tv so it wasn't an issue.
