We were just there for the Feb. break this year, beautiful resort. There are 4 of us, including two teenage boys, so we did a lot of island touring. The one big thing that I did not think about before we left was the amount of traffic and the time it takes to get anywhere. We live in a small town and do not have to allow for "city" driving, but if you are going anywhere on the island you have to go through the city and it pretty much took an 1 1/2 hr to get anywhere. If you are staying on the resort with no car, food is limited and expensive. We did go to one of the other neighbouring resorts for supper one night and it was good, you can either walk or take the free shuttle that runs between all of the resorts there. Next time we go it will just be the two of us as our children are not “beach” people and need to be doing something or they sit in the room and watch T.V....... My only complaint about the resort was that there was nothing for teenage boys to do other than swim, no basketball net, no volleyball net, no tennis, no shuffleboard....... the lagoon in front of the resort is too calm for body surfing or boogie boarding. I hope you have a great time on your vacation.
