Are there any attractions, entertainment or meet and greets for a kid that loves CARS? I have a 5 year old obsessed with CARS and Planes... Thank you!

Carsland is in Disneyland CA. The CARS meet & greet as well as the apprentice at Lights, Motors, Action were at DHS, but closed 4/2. I'm not sure if/when they are going to move them to another location. Epcot right now has some Cars themed stuff with F&G.

Art of animation hotel has the most cars stuff at wdw

There was Lightning McQueen in lights motors action, and a meet and greet at HS but both are gone now for Star Wars/Toy Story expansion

If your son is that obsessed with Cars, it would be very worth your while to check out the Art of Animation resort. Look through the photos in the resort thread; lots of picture opportunities with Cars characters. The bonus; it's free!!

It is WELL worth the trip to Art of Animation just to walk around the Cars section. It is seriously like walking into Radiator Springs; I was blown away by the theming.

My boys were obsessed with Cars - when Cars Land was announced, it was our goal to get there in that very finite window: After it had been open awhile and the massive crowds had dwindled/but before they outgrew the real magic behind it. It was amazing! We drove cross country with a 10 year old, 6 year old, and 4 month old (it saved us so much money) and it was one of our best vacations of all time. We absolutely loved it and we're hoping to go back in a couple of years. DLR and WDW price points are not that different - I highly recommend planning a DLR trip in favor of WDW if you can.

We took our first trip to Disneyland/California Adventures over Spring Break this year (DD8/DD12). Cars Land was absolutely incredible. It's like you walked right into the movie. They even have a special neon lighting thing around dusk each evening, kind of like what happened in the movie. If you do go, be there first thing when the park opens so you can get on Radiator Spring Racers without much of a wait and grab you a fast pass for later in the day - if you can time it, get a fast pass for night time to see the ride lit up - it's beautiful! It's even better when you stay at a Disney hotel because it's only Disney hotel guests allowed in before the park opens on certain days. We had done everything in Cars Land and in the Paradise Pier area before 9am (parked opened early at 7am), including Screamin' and Toy Story Mania (which we rode twice).

Disneyland needs to be your Cars destination. In my opinion, this land is the best themed in all of Disney. Really like you are in the movie. The Radiator Springs ride is awesome too. It's a great family ride!

Disneyland is a nice change to WDW.

Just wanted to chime in and say I agree on going to DL to see Cars land! I too just visited DL for the first time and it is fabulous in its own right. Definitely worth visiting! Lots of different things that aren't in WDW. Radiator Springs Racers and all of Cars Land are phenomenal!
