We wanted to order something for our trip and pick it up at the Walmart on Vineland but it wouldn't accept a Canadian address (no province or postal code option).
Has anyone figured a way around this? Doesn't make sense if we are purchasing here and shipping it there.
Yes I ordered and picked up at store in Batavia (we were going to Darien Lake) and I believe to get around that I used my pay pal account to pay then the address did not matter.
Paypal is the only way around it. I even tried calling Wal Mart and that's what they told me.
Although, I never tried a gift card. Have you thought of that? Can you use Canadian gift cards in US stores? If you can, you could probably buy a gift card and pay that way.
I haven't ordered from Walmart but have ordered from Costco(USA) and when I got to the address part I used my real street address but put in FL for the state and used the zip code of my hotel. It worked fine.....that said it was a pretty small dollar amount ($20) so if it didn't work out I wasn't that concerned about losing the money.
Is there a reason that you don't want to use Paypal???
We have a US MC that we wanted to use but with Paypal you can only use your Canadian MC (funds) and we didn't want to pay the extra exchange and fees on it.
I guess if Paypal is the only way, we'll just have to look for the item on our way down....I'm sure we'll pass a 'few' Walmarts between here and there! lol

The only way I could buy something from Walmart (Site to Store in Buffalo) was to pay by Paypal. I have a US visa and I just added it to my paypal account and it worked out perfectly!

I have a US mastercard and have it hooked to my paypal account. Anything I purchase from the US gets charged to this card and I have never had any problems. You shouldn't have any problem adding your US card to Paypal.

Hmmm, my DH said he read somewhere that Canadian accounts had to use Canadian currency so we thought linking a US MC wouldn't be accepted. Haven't actually tried it though. Thanks for the tips.
