Just wondering because I signed up for an account - and it said "Thank you for registering" - but when I go to sign in, it says that an account with that username is not registered.

I know I can call the 1-800 number, but I was just curious if anybodyd else had used them.

Thanks!

yup, we used them last year and they just called yesterday to confirm our order for April 22'nd. I would try again, or re- register, you will likely want to submit your order soon as the delivery dates do fill up about two weks out from your date. They are great, it was such an asset last year to have snacks, fruit, water and the all important diet coke for my dh in our room!
Any questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks Paula,

I'm trying again right now and it continues to thank me for my registration, but then won't allow me to log in - when I click, forgot password it says that there is no account with this email.

Did you use your Nova Scotia address and postal code for the billing info??

For the billing info I did use my NS addy as I put it on my CC, I had the delivery info made out to POP, obviously. Did you check your e-mail to see if they sent you a link? Some places do that to ensure that it is an active e-mail account. Hope that helps.

Its strange, I just tried again and left out the postal code thinking that was the problem, but then it said that I couldn't leave the postal code blank. It again thanks me for registering - but then says I'm not registered.

No emails to confirm - I even used my home and work email and its not working. I'll have to call!

Thanks!

Btw, did you guys ever order beer or anything??

ok, so I called Garden Grocer and within 1 minute we figured out my problem. My last name is O'..... so the apostrophe was causing me to not be able to register - except instead of telling me there was an error, it was telling me I was registered.

So, I am now officially registered.

But still curious about whether you ordered Beer??

We didn't, we thought about it. DH enjoys his beer but I am not a big drinker and I am more likely to indulge in a white russian or something fun for the pool side bar. DH had a couple at POP last year and ordered some with his dinner and of course in Epcot. For the amount of beer that he drank at the resort it just wasn't worth it to order it. His craving was for ginger ale, which we could not find anywhere until one evening at 50's Prime Time Cafe, so this year I ordered a dozen of that!
I am glad that they got you straightened away, try to remember to submit your order soon. I ordered laundry detergent form there as well, I found it reasonable and thought I will just give the left over to someone in the laundry room.
Have fun!!

We ordered beer and rum two years in a row from them.

I called and talked to a person after I placed my order online just make sure. My piece of mind was worth it.

First year we missed the delivery time and they came back later that night. They would have just left the goods at the desk if I had faxed them my ID ahead of time.

Would do it again.

We have used Garden Grocer 4 times now and have always had great service. Just about to order again for my DH upcoming golf trip.

I used them for my Xmas trip. It was great, and even when we were delayed by a day due to weather, they were able to deliver my order, including the wine I ordered, and Bell Services kept it in their fridge and freezer (we ordered popsicles) until we arrived.

I ended up giving the remaining popsicles to Bell Services when we left and they loved that - it was about 80F that day.

We used them last August and plan to use them again this year. So easy and convenient. Ordered a case of water from them, too, for in the room.

Our only mix-up with it was that they either delivered early or delivered to bell services and not our room, and we were waiting in our room for them to come. Called GG at 9pm after they hadn't arrived in our delivery window, and they said it had been delivered hours before. Called bell services, and couldn't get through to them. Sent a tired DH to bell services in tropical storm something or other (Hannah maybe?) and they finally found the stuff. I wasn't impressed with the mix-up, but I was so tired after my day of travel that I crashed to bed and forgot about it.

So much for service at the moderate resort! Let's hope for better at POP!

We (2 adult, 2 kids 8 & 6) will be staying at pop this coming August for 10 days during free dining. I think we need to order only water bottles because we have dining plan, this forum told me that there are already a lot of food but don't waste snack credit on water. Also there is no fridge in Pop Century, we can't order food that needs a fridge such as milk.
I look up the Garden Grocer, they have a minimum order of $40 plus $12 delivery comes up with $52 for water? How can we order $40 of water? Any suggestion for me please? We are from Toronto. Thanks

We ordered food when we stayed at the POP but we weren't on the dining plan. I had milk and orange juice as well. We brought a soft sided cooler that was folded in our luggage. We filled it with ice each day.

To justify the cost, bottled water is $2.00 each and the water from the tap is horrible so it's easy to justify buying the water in my opinion. Think about how much water you will drink and then figure out how much it will cost.

have a super trip!

I researched that because initially we just wanted to order bottled water too. Unfortunately, costco.com does not allow Canadians to use a credit card with a Canadian billing address :headache: Just to be sure, I emailed them to ask if I could order bottled water to be delivered to Orlando. Here's the reply:

Thank you for your e-mail to Costco Wholesale.

Currently, Costco.com is U.S. currency and U.S. delivery only. Costco.com only accepts credit cards billed to a U.S. address.
Online shopping is now available for Canadian members at www.costco.ca.
Costco.com is diligently working to launch other internationally accessible websites.

Bummer  So, Garden Grocer will be getting our order again this year - which is fine, we had a wonderful experience using GG last year :goodvibes

Thanks for the link!

We are still in a pickle...
There is a 40.00 minimum order with garden grocer..we don't need snacks or anything else-so there is now way we will make that minimum..

Was going to order from Costco.com but they need a credit card with a USA address..so geeepers no luck there either.

They recommended Staples on one of the boards here...so guess I will check that..if they too need a USA credit card then we are just out of luck :-(
