Any campers traveled I-10 since Katrina?

We're from Louisiana (near Baton Rouge) and we have ressies at FW for Thanksgiving week. We were wondering what the road conditions were like on I-10. All lanes & bridges open? Had any problems finding fuel? Fuel seems to be more available & prices better in Louisiana this week. I heard that the bridge in Pennsacola might still have only 2 lanes open (but that was from Ivan, not Katrina, I think). I sure hope that's not true as we'll probably be passing through there around 5 pm and traffic is bad enough when all lanes are open. We picked up our new 5er the day after Katrina but all of the campgrounds in LA are full with evacuees so the Disney trip may be our first camping trip in our new 5er.

We are also interested in this. We're going to Dallas to FW in a couple of weeks and were originally planning to go down through Baton Rouge and through to Pensacola.

I've ready on RV.net that the roads are open and OK, at least if you take I-12 over toward Gulfport to pick up I-10 and out through MS and AL. I'm still sort of edgy about going that way. For us, it might be better to take I-20 out through the northern part of the southern states but we wanted to stop at Topsail for a couple of days on the way out.
